Hypnotherapy for Fear of Driving
One of our most requested sessions is for Hypnotherapy for Fear of Driving. We get requests from clients to help them with everything from their driving test to being able to deal with motorways confidently. Fears centered around driving are incredibly common but they are not always what they seem. Each person will have a different reason for their fear and a good hypnotherapist will work with you to understand what your negative triggers are and how they can be resolved.
So when a person asks for Hypnotherapy for Fear of Driving what happens next? Well in our first session we need to identify exactly what is causing your triggers and if there are any other areas in your life where you suffer from anxiety or fear. For example if you have Generalised Anxiety Disorder your fear of driving may be one of a number of issues which are causing you a problem. Our job is to find out what the root cause of these fears are so that they can be collapsed down. In other clients we may find that the fear is generated by very specific circumstances. So someone with a fear of motorway driving may not actually fear the motorway itself but worries about coming across a bridge on their route which triggers their fear of heights. In such a case the fear of heights is the problem that needs to be tackled and not the motorway itself.
This is why suggestion hypnosis is not the only method that a competent hypnotist will use to help their clients. Suggestion hypnosis can work very well for many people but if part of the mind has another reason for keeping a person scared to protect them it will keep on with the behaviour. Where another part of the mind has a reason for the problem our Hypnotherapy for Fear of Driving will usually involve more analytical hypnosis to discover what that part of the mind is doing for that person.
Generally with analytical hypnosis we need a client to become incredibly relaxed and in order to help this process our clients are usually given an anxiety download to listen to before their session. We ask our clients to listen to this audio daily and bit by bit our clients will relax more and more so that by the time they arrive for their session they are so relaxed that we can begin asking questions under hypnosis to find out the source of their problem. This process can be incredibly quick and take only one session or it make take a number of sessions to retrieve the information that we need to change how the subconscious thinks about a problem. Usually when the underlying conflict has been dealt with the issue simply melts away.

Hypnosis for Anxiety in London
If you are looking for help with your fears and worries then our clinics specialise in Hypnosis for Anxiety in London. We work with all forms of fears and phobias including fear of flying, claustrophobia, panic attacks and even hypnosis for sleep. Even though many people suffer with these issues they are unaware of why the problem has started and where it has come from. Our job is to work with clients to calm down the original fear by finding the reason why it started in the first place. This requires a deep state of relaxation under hypnosis to help with memory recall.
On any initial session with a client our first job is to take a thorough assessment to find out more about the problem and when it is worse and when it is better. During this assessment we will also determine how far the fear or phobia has spread. We know that generally a person who has one phobia is more likely to have a number of others. Once the assessment has been taken our first session concentrates on helping you to enter a state of hypnosis where we can begin to use suggestion hypnosis to help the problem. An example of suggestion is that you will feel calmer, be able to breathe easier and will generally feel more relaxed when you come across your fear or trigger. Then we will send you away with an anxiety download. This download is to help you practice self hypnosis at home so you become more comfortable with the process. Each time you listen to the audio you are likely to become more deeply relaxed.
When our clients come in for their second session they are likely to be relaxing more and entering a deeper state of trance. During this session we can usually work with our client to determine where and when the problem began. This is because under hypnosis you are significantly more relaxed. Hypnosis for Anxiety in London can transform your levels of stress and take away that feeling of being on the edge all the time. In this deeper state of relaxation you will also find that many people will experience enhanced memory recall which means that we are often able to explore memories which may lead us to the first time where a problem bega. Once we understand why a person has that problem we then work with the subconscious to take away that fear.
A perfect example of this may be that you were a small child in your living room and a spider crawled across the floor. You were not bothered but then one of your parents saw the creature and started to scream and make a fuss. Suddenly you became upset as well and from that point on you hated spiders. The reality is that the spider did nothing to you at all and that the reason you dislike the spider is not because it hurt you but because your parent made you scared. Once you understand this the fear surrounding the spider can reduce and the anxiety reaction that you used to have won't happen any more.

Remember fears and phobias and even generalised anxiety disorder are usually very easily solvable with hypnosis and relaxation techniques.
Hypnosis for Sleep
One of the most common problems that our hypnotherapy clients have is the inability to get a good nights sleep. No matter what our clients have come to see us for we always ask about their sleeping patterns and in so many cases our clients find it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Either they go to bed and spend hours trying to get off to sleep or they manage to fall asleep and then a few hours later they wake up and are wide awake. Hypnosis for sleep is incredibly effective for getting a good nights sleep and we are able to do this entirely naturally and without any medication at all.
In the Western world so many doctors prescribe medication for sleep and studies have shown that it is killing people. If you regularly take sleeping tablets then you have a much greater chance of an early death. They are however incredibly convenient for a doctor to give you and take only minutes to dispense. Of course many GP's in the UK don't have the time to spend with their clients teaching them how to get off to sleep naturally and so more and more of these are given out to patients each year. There is of course an alternative and with a little time most people can be sleeping like a baby again without the need for the pills.
Hypnosis for sleep for most people takes as little as two sessions. Generally in the first session you are given an assessment and during this discussion you will be asked about your stress and anxiety levels, sleep routines and medical history. One of the first things we do in the session is work on your sleep hygiene. You will in fact be asked to follow a sleeping routine of our choice for at least a week or two following the session. You may find it different to the one you were following before but generally this will help you to get to sleep quicker and easier than ever before. We also give all our clients a sleep hypnosis mp3 to listen to each evening as they are going to bed. We find that sleep routine changes, listening to our sleep hypnosis audio and general suggestion hypnosis is more than enough to solve the sleeping problems of 90% of our clients.
Of course we do come across the odd client where solving their insomnia is more complex and involves a deeper analytical form of hypnosis. If we see little changes on session two then we like to question our clients to see what is one their mind that may be preventing them from sleeping. Sometimes it can be a current worry or on the odd occasion an issue from the past. Once this is resolved in the subconscious then the client is generally able to get back to sleep again quickly and easily.
So don't shorten your life by taking medication to send you off to sleep. Instead arrange a Hypnosis for Sleep session with us at one of our London or Hertfordshire clinics and find out how easy it can be to drift off naturally and easily.

Hypnotherapy for Anxiety London - How Can it Help You to Resolve Fear and Panic
If you are looking for Hypnotherapy for Anxiety London then we have clinics which are based in Central and North London which can help you to alleviate or resolve your problem. We are specialists in working with clients who suffer from anxiety and know the techniques that can help to bring about relief to the condition. We understand that when you suffer from anxiety and panic the feelings can be overwhelming but we work with you by teaching you self hypnosis so that you can start to make yourself feel calmer from session one. Once we have successfully shown you how to get into hypnosis we then start to work with you to resolve the root cause of those feelings.
For some of our clients the reason why they have their anxiety is instantly obvious. During our initial session we always conduct a full assessment before starting any hypnosis. We will check for problems with stress, fears and phobias, eating problems, pain, OCD traits and even depression so we can get an idea of the big picture. When we see that clients are working too hard, are having problems at home or are dealing with complex issues such as bereavement or divorce then we can see where their stress is coming from. Stress is the reason why most people have anxiety because it puts them on edge. The more stress is piled on the more out of control they feel until eventually they are unable to take it anymore and suddenly the severe anxiety and panic starts. In our Hypnotherapy for Anxiety London sessions our very first step it to help you reduce that stress. By reducing stress we can begin to calm those horrible feelings down so that you start to feel more in control.
Self Hypnosis Anxiety.
Self Hypnosis for anxiety is often a great way of teaching our clients to take back some form of control. This is because when you are in hypnosis you are entering a deep state of relaxation. By practicing the techniques of self hypnosis every day you are chipping away at your background anxiety so that you start to feel calmer. Even better you can add positive visualisation to the self hypnosis so that you counteract any negative thoughts that may be appearing. We also understand that when you are feeling anxious it is difficult to learn new techniques so we have created an anxiety hypnosis mp3 to make this as simple as possible for you. All you will need to do is listen to the mp3 daily when you are in bed or relaxing at home and you will start to feel the benefits..
Can Hypnosis Help Anxiety Attacks?
As well as tackling the obvious reasons for anxiety we also question our clients a bit deeper about where their problem may have begun. It is not unusual for us to find that even before the anxiety they are feeling in the present they always felt on edge or slightly worried before. Typically we find that the problem may have gone all the way back to childhood. Perhaps they had been afraid of the dark, or maybe they didn't feel comfortable in public or had a number of fears or phobias. When we spot this we understand that the problem is rooted deeper. Typically as a child an incident will have occurred that made that child feel anxious or afraid. This will have placed them on high alert and made them feel more on edge. When stressors occur in life many years later the mind will associate the problem with what happened when they were younger and increase the feelings of anxiety. When we find the root cause of an anxiety or problem the problem tends to collapse and the present anxiety will often just melt away..
Before booking any client for Hypnotherapy for Anxiety London we like to speak to them personally so we explain exactly how our anxiety treatment works. If you would like a free telephone consultation we can be contacted on 020 8351 2744 for more information..
